MOSCOW, Dec 1 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Digital Development Ministry may prolong the transition period for registration of corporate mobile numbers with the unified system of identification and authentication, used on the portal of state services Gosuslugi, till February 2022, business daily Kommersant reported on Wednesday, quoting sources.
One of the sources said the period may be extended till the end of February 2022. If a client fails to register a SIM card during the transition period, an operator will suspend its servicing, which, however, can be resumed immediately after the provision of the needed information by the client on Gosuslugi.
Starting from Wednesday, the country’s operators must check with the unified system of identification and authentication the submission of information about users of corporate SIM cards.
